The Maple Rooms is a new Boutique recording Studio located, 30 minutes from Cork City and operated by Producer and Engineer Cormac O'Connor. The studio, designed from the ground up by DanDan Fitzgerald of Irish Acoustics, has a very pleasing acoustic response with excellent results for Drums, vocals and acoustic guitars.The yamaha upright Piano and Mapex Orion Drum kit are permanently miked up and ready to go.
We specialise in  musical arrangement and production for singer songwriters and bands with a range of individually tailored packages available to suit your budget. Some examples  here
We can also provide creative Video design with the ability to produce a high definition music video  optimised for distribution to YouTube and Social networking sites.
The studio has a massive library of sounds and sound manipulation tools as well as a generous range of microphones, preamplifiers and musical Instruments. We maintain a constant interest in the cutting edge of technology in music and video production. Music Videos
After a long and varied career as a Sound Designer and Composer for Theatre and TV, working with Many companies including The Royal Opera House, The Royal Festival Hall and the BBC, Cormac has settled in Cork with his lovely partner Ann and their dog Beano to focus fully on the Maple Rooms.
